In the last couple of days I have to sign in before every post. I can view without signing in, but not post. It used to be by clicking the box to stay logged in you could ...for months. Anyone else experiencing this?

Re: Signing in
Butch, this ancient construct is on fragile ground. I have another account that I cannot access anymore. It makes me write in “OGR Sucks” to gain access after “too many attempts”. I lost access to Erik C Lindgren 2 years ago. Make darn sure you don’t loose your password here on MTJ.

Re: Signing in
I have to sign in before adding each post. Been that way for years. one key stroke, and "autofill."
Re: Signing in
Yeah, that is what's happening to me. I have to sign in before each and every post.
I agree about the password Erik, except I can now contact Lee off forum to have him get me back in if I have a problem. Not the same on a car forum I belong to. I lost years of posts because someone stole my password. Administrators tried to help, but it was apparent they were not computer gurus either, after a month I just rejoined earlier this year.

Re: Signing in
I never have to sign in - once in - stay signed in for months. No explanation, and no complaints either.
Curious why that might be - operating systems, device, something else?

Solitude is only a good idea if you have the right people along to share it.

Re: Signing in
Very likely, another one of many cross platform handshake issues. There are a million ways to play in this pool.

Re: Signing in
I just noticed - I have to sign in every single time on the iPad (one touch, and autofill) but I stay signed in on the big Dell computer.
Re: Signing in
I haven't had to re-sign in for years, but starting this week I now have to sign in before every post. Not just to sign on the forum and then make my posts, but now I have to sign in for every post I want to make. Must be at my end.
Re: Signing in
Anyone pose a question to Bill as to what might cause these issues?
Re: Signing in
I just rebooted the computer (it's been many weeks) and I'm back to not having to log in except one time and it appears I can stay logged in as before. User error as it most often is with computers.
