Carey - very nice. Especially like the finish and lettering on the passenger cars. Good old Fred never really liked doing rivets, although apparently for an extra charge he would do them for you .
Nice that you are preserving so much history. Too bad there are so few viewers here - as our numbers dwindle, folks are inclined to look less often, and so the posts are in the basement.

Im here! Yes great video Carey and a cool old NYC Hudson. I wonder why the commercial manufacturers didn't adopted Ikes mechanisms. The slot car style gears would surly have been as economical as a worm gear setup.

Unfortunately the cars received some damage when shipped by Trainz...they seem to be packing a bit better these days .
Cars came from Ed Rappe collection.
Engine came out of Wisconsin....when it arrived the entire boiler was filled with thousands of beetle shells ....nasty ....
It was been fun getting the set up and running ...
