The forgotten heavy electrics of MTH
Anyone out there run the big jackshaft electrics made by MTH in 2004 such as the PRR L-5 or the FF-1 aka Big Liz? I think MTH is the only manufacturer to make these in O scale, albeit 3-rail.

Try the 3 rail forum or OGR.

Joe Foehrkolb showed pictures of one of the jack shaft PRR locomotives in one of his power point presentations. I wonder who he converted that loco for.

They are interesting engines, but I don't recall seeing many models of either of them in any format. Joe did a pile of conversions, it's a shame he isn't around to answer that question!
