I don't use google for hosting, nor a smart phone.
Found this:

Go to photos.google.com and open any image that you wish to embed in your website. Tap the Share Icon (video tutorial) and then click the Get Link button to generate a shareable link of that image. Go to j.mp/EmbedGooglePhotos, paste that link and it will instantly generate the embed code for your selected picture.

That works, thank you for showing us another way to share photos from Google Photos.

Now, to practice, I authorize using one of my images in OGR, with or without attribution, for this exercise. For example, I will go find a "bob2" photo:

First one I came up with is the Saginaw G5. I right-clicked, and a big window opened up. About two thirds down is the "image address" button. I clicked that. I do not need to do a "copy;" it is already copied by clicking that button:

Then I do as above - click the Img button, then "paste"

So try that. You can probably do that with any image, but be careful of copyrights. Google images does not work on my iPad, but I will give it a try here.

So it turns out that my photos now reside in Google images - without attribution! I can copy them here without violating my copyright (at least Google is not trying to tell some story with my photos, but they are in violation).

But I just tried to capture the address on one of my Google photos, and came up with the same lengthy sequence that Stephen wound up with, and it did not work with the Img button. Maybe I have to pay Google to get a proper address to my own photos?

Okay. This image comes from a Google link. You apparently cannot get a Google photo address, but Google had an O Scale Kings link, and I was able to successfully copy this address. It is probably an Ed Bommer model, but I am protected because I am posting it solely for educational purposes.

Okay - I think I get it. You left-click on the Google image, which sends you to where they stole the image, and then on the original posted image, you right click and select "image address"

Okay. Now take that third addresss, copy it, tap the Img button, and paste.

You will see your ATSF Diesel appear on MTJ.
