[img][/img[img][/imghttps://lh3.googleusercontent.com/OHuUPkK8GEZqqdgeG4bsr32FMN3GEXBcDs4tKimC_OGLA- I 'open image new tab' but I can't seem to copy the URL. I think this may be that Im on a Mac desk top, and the process might be different? or I need to select a different box? I can get a box that says "copy image address" did that and Im guessing you can see the result.

Nope. That's all Greek, but I can see right off the bat that you are not getting the image address in between the

What you do is hit the Img button, then "paste." It should automatically stick the image info inside the codes.

And usually it is only two lines long.

So go to your image, right-click it or whatever you do to get an "image address", then post that here, and we will see if we can encapsulate it in the proper bracketed codes for you.

Copy the link and open in a new tab gives you:

Your addresses are WAY too long in most of your posts. The [img] stuff is really easy.
Click the "img" button here, anywhere clear of the double paste, it automatically plops between them.
THEN click at the very end to escape and continue posting.

If you are copying the exact address, before you put it here, open a new tab in your browser and paste it in and see what happens. If it won't open for you, it won't open here.

How do send photos direct to family or friends?

I don't use google for hosting, nor a smart phone.
Found this:

Go to photos.google.com and open any image that you wish to embed in your website. Tap the Share Icon (video tutorial) and then click the Get Link button to generate a shareable link of that image. Go to j.mp/EmbedGooglePhotos, paste that link and it will instantly generate the embed code for your selected picture.

None of that is for an image address either - that's a Google drive address.

Seems plausible and worth a try.

Maybe instead of trying to insert it between the brackets it would be easier for you to past the code into your post, highlight the code, then press Img.

Code: Select all

Too many suggestions, Stephen? That is the way it is on a public forum. It has been my experience that none of the many suggestions work for me. You are not alone.
Here is what I see when I look at my image and your image in Google Photos.
Image

The image I see using your code is the international symbol for NO ENTRY. It means I do not have access to your images.
