Indeed sad news. I will miss “Rogruth”. While he was a 3 rail modeler he appreciated all facets of O scale and always had a kind word to say to everyone. I thought of him as the “wise old man of reason and knowledge” of our forum. My condolences to the family.

I am saddened by this news. I never met Roger in person, but I figure his ability to make the online world much nicer meant he was a really special person in real life! My condolences on your loss.

I appreciated Roger’s level headed and diplomatic posts and reply’s on the train forums. He always seemed to be a gentleman. He will be missed.
