Most of the mechanical parts came from George, as above, so I just added a frame and boiler. It will never be a live steamer ever again, but at one time these cylinders actually worked under steam!
The real reason for resurrecting this old thread - a Little Engines Hudson in rather poor shape just sold on eBay for $800. I had no idea these things were worth that kind of $ - I would sell my Northern in a heartbeat for $800, and let the buyer find this guy - mine has actually worked on live steam, and I did run it on compressed air a couple decades ago.
