Frances Lee Jaques' Great North Road, the subject of a May 1962 Model Railroader article, apparently still exists and is on long-term display at the Minnesota Museum of Mining in Chisholm:

Interesting. Apparently not functional now.......wonder if that could be corrected or if there is any interest in making it an operating feature.....

Interesting layout ...looks to be S gauge ... some Lionel and Marx re-gauged ? Many Flyer hoppers , passenger cars some engine chassis . Nice scenery . Cheers Carey
