If you cheered them up a bit, maybe they wouldn't be depressed.

Bourbon. Get some of those small bottles they use in airline service and strap them down. They won't care after a while.

If you drink some yourself, you might not care either. A late buddy of mine was a Jim Beam fancier. He and I and Jim had several worthwhile conversations over the years.

After about six examples of seller stupidity, out comes the Jameson. After 12 examples, I don't care anymore.
Takes that much to reach The Firefly's level of don't caredness!

Not sure "stupidity" is the right word. Suppose somebody bites - then who is stupid?

Then the stupidity transfers faster than COVID 20 does. And the seller becomes an "opportunist".
(since nobody yet knows for sure, and we've been at this for a while, we've entered 2020)
Gonna find out if Jameson prevents either COVID 19 or 20.

You grossly underestimate my level of insouciance on these items - I'd never waste my time looking at 99+% of them were it not for your posting them here. I'm only playing for the entertainment value while I procrastinate a bit between rejecting manuscripts and crushing the spirit of researchers all over the world,

Posting these things is more fun than chasing ants in the backyard.

The ONLY issue I have is, even though I am careful to locate city/town and state of seller, one of these days one of the inhabitants of this august forum will end up getting poked by one of these.

I'll take your word for that; the time spent hunting them (not the giant radioactive ants...) down is something else.....

Would be far more likely to happen were you doing this over on OGR..........where they would probably ban you after about the 3rd such posting.

Nope. First post would still be wet and the seller would have it yanked.
They pay a platoon of goons to peruse the forum looking for whom they might devour.

Yes, you'd get a warning - 3rd time you'd get the door

Yeah?
I like this forum far better than NK, which still has a rather unenlightened cadre of censors.
But I note that far more railroading is going on in their 2-rail forum than here. Part of it is probably photo hosting problems.

Lately I have posted quite a few photos there that really belong here. I joined Shuttleworth, but so far have not gotten off the couch long enough to organize a photo dump.

Dave is spending a lot of time avoiding the ants in his back yard. He and Martin are now almost the only posters who insert photos here, and Dave is now dropping the ball.

Dave and I had a nice exchange, with me getting rid of an exquisitely painted NW2 in exchange for one where I could smooth the cab seams and re-do in grey and red-orange. You will have to go to NK to see it when I finish.

I will be very careful over there to not say anything non-Christian or non-Trump in nature. Can you imagine the reaction of the censors if I changed from bob2 to, say, obamatrain?
