Nice planes, hazard a guess (at least the F4U and F6F) are they those old Monogram 1:48's that you could build with wings folded? They're great; I always wanted to build one of each starting with the Wildcat. I only did the Dauntless and Avenger.

If I remember correctly they’re Monogram’s.

If you are at all interested in airplanes you owe it to yourself to go to Oshkosh (last weekend in July to first weekend in August). 1,000,000 people visit during that week.

Join the EAA (EAA.org) first ($50 or so) to get the best access (plus they have pages on renting and camping options).

There is a 2 hour airshow every afternoon with the best performers in the business plus mass flights of B-29s, B-24s, B-17s, P-51s, P-38s, P-47s, p-40s, Hellcats, Wildcats, Avengers, Dauntless, Bearcats and more T-6s than you can count.

Plus you get to see Wacos, Staggerwings, Ford and Stinson trimotors and 30s race planes.

99% of the people you meet will be friendly and helpful, the grounds are scrupulously clean and the food is edible.

The flea market has everything from complete kits for your next airplane to obscene T-shirts.
