Not the first time that has been on the auction. It was on a few weeks or so back and sold for (as best I can recall) between $600-$700. Not sure if this is the buyer from that auction or the original selller that ended up getting it back for whatever reason. Mandrake would have a tough time fixing that baby! Be interesting to see what happens the second time around.

I would get a kick out of trying, but not for a $300 investment. Maybe $200 if the mechanism were guaranteed.

Correct, but since
I have absolutely NO intention of bidding on that piece of crap, I didn't care why the thing was relisted!

Third time - I will bid $200. I bet my body working skills can make a credible nose. Did I tell you I made a cowl for my airplane out of flat sheets? Still looks good 50 years later.

Guessing there won't be a third auction, and the second is already above your 2 C notes. The B unit is probably worth that on it's own.
Here is the FIRST auction.....ended at $716, but the winning bidder bailed!

I seriously considered going for this. Sadly I've had to work out stuff like this before, multiple times though not quite to this level of severity using a specifically shaped hard wood back form and light fiber mallet, takes patience and you still have to cut out and putty/bondo any really hard folds/creases regardless, but that's the kind of tedium I perversely enjoy. I thought here if they're typical Key stuff with regard to the chassis and drive quality that it was worth it anyway.
I hope someone here does snag this and post his work.
