The AC-9 went as high as $4 grand before the Sunset imports brought prices back to earth. I think they now bring $1500. The Berk never made it past $1200, and now they bring under $500 in good shape.

But one is free to set one's own minimum price, and often someone will bite.

Look who's selling? Another antique/collectable dealer. You can't question their knowledge...they know it all. Most likely stole it at some estate sale and now looking to make a grand slam.
