Grandt Line closing

Grandt Line, a manufacturer of architectural details, structure kits, and freight cars in several popular modeling scales, will close in June after more than 60 years in business. The company was founded by the late Cliff Grandt in the San Francisco bay area.

Very sad. Their detail castings and kits were incredible. A torpedo hit under the water line for us scratchbuilders.

Their website says they are negotiating the sale of their tooling to a reputable company. So that leaves Jay Criswell out of the running!!! Tee hee.....

In the meantime you could probably get the Grandt Line parts you need from Keith Wiseman. He supposedly has a lot of their stuff.
