Glenn Guerra was here with his two beautiful Nickel Plate B11 locomotives being built for a BIG NKP modeler This was their first real test on a layout. Both started out as Stevenson Preservation Lines NYC/NKP B11 0-6-0 Switcher Kits. Glen made many new castings and built much from scratch to give them their distinctive look. NK #62 and #64. A lot of hand fabrication went into these. The building of the new pilot beam, valve gears and tanks will be featured in up coming issues of The O Scale Resource Magazine.

Those are gorgeous. The cylinder and valve heads are exquisite. These are not trivial kits to build, even without improvements.

Dan...they are indeed something special. Glenn obviously does some special work. Looking forward to seeing more.
