$110 was the sale price, before buyer's commission, sales tax and shipping.

$110 seems high to me considering that this pair of camelbacks sold for $120: Two brass O scale two rail Jersey Central 4-6-0 and Reading 4-4-2

Also, FWIW, there was a "Delta Lines" car in this lot of covered hoppers that sold for $160: 7 O scale two rail ACF hoppers Union Pacific, Delta Lines, Rio Grande, Sclair, etc. It's obviously not a Frank Ellison car since the prototype came along after Mr. Ellison's passing. I think it's a 2-railed MTH car. The CNJ hopper is probably an Atlas, while the remaining 5 appear to be Weavers. Some of those may have the replacement floors that Peco Rivers Brass made.

This morning, Monday, September 24, ebay seller cugjp1 posted 62 of the Stout lots as ebay Buy It Now/Best Offer listings. The ebay seller listed the items in the exact same lots Stout did, presumably because that allows the ebay seller to reuse Stout's pictures.

Here's an interesting one: Stout #267, Sunset Models O scale brass two rail Great Northern S-2 4-8-4 Northern steam locomotive
Stout sold it for $375 on September 20.

It then shows up as being sold on ebay on September 29 for $1,215:
Ebay #392128551747, Sunset Models O scale brass two rail Great Northern S-2 4-8-4 Northern steam loc

After Stout and Ebay fees, the reseller would have tripled their investment in only nine days....but apparently that was too good to be true since it was relisted for $1215. It did not sell despite having its price dropped to $972 in this listing that ended November 10:
Ebay #392145542554, Sunset Models O scale brass two rail Great Northern S-2 4-8-4 Northern steam loc

It was then relisted for $1032.75 and sold for $722 on November 13 according to this listing:
Ebay #392171175206, Sunset Models O scale brass two rail Great Northern S-2 4-8-4 Northern steam loc

So the $64 question is was the thing returned or was the 1st sale shill bidding or did they have two? Looks a little hinky to me!

It was a buy-it-now listing, so there could not have been any shill bidders. The buyer might not have paid or have returned it.

So essentially "SOLD" does not necessarily mean "SOLD" !

Always been true..... And, even if it’s free, you can always buy it cheaper.

The new Buy-it-Now prices are 2 times to 4 times what Stout sold the lots for, for example:
Stout - Sunset Models O scale brass two rail New York Central S-1b 4-8-4 Niagara - 6024 Modernized - sold for $575
compare to
Ebay #392128554545, Sunset Models O scale brass two rail New York Central S-1b 4-8-4 Niagara - 6024 - Buy It Now for $1,575

In December, cugjp1 listed many of the items they acquired from Stout as regular, non-reserve auctions on ebay. The Niagara ended up selling for $698:
Ebay #392190500428 Sunset Models O scale brass two rail New York Central S-1b 4-8-4 Niagara - 6024

Those PSC Pullmans were $350 cars. I guess Sunset blew a hole in that market.

The latest issue of OGR has an article about the layout Seacrest was having built.
