Cast aluminum or Zamac, maybe. Underbody looks like a familiar style.

No, not brass for sure because of the big chip on the corner. Seller also says "excellent", which is a bit of science fiction, but if it goes for the current bid price, not too bad. Interesting how the screw holding on the coupler comes up through the floor right in front of the door! I agree with Maroon.
