They definitely did HO as I owned some of there E units back in the mid 70's. I was hoping this was an O scale model as they did import one along with GP-9's, prior to Challenger Imports upgrading the models.

I am a little surprised; every time I try to list anything for sale with obvious contact info that tries to circumvent their system, the software flags and kicks out the listing. I'm perplexed how folks manage to work around that.....

Yeah, that is about as blatant as I've seen in a listing. Just screams, call "me" to go around EB and save "me" some money. What is there to discuss about a HO GP-20. I've seen a few others, but I can't even send additional photos of an item to a buyer who asks for them, because it gets kicked out let alone try to add a phone number or email address.

I know my personal opinion means squat but that's never stopped me in the past. When I see something like this my first reaction is....whatever, who cares. My second thought is, hope it works out for him because ebay is a ripoff. I use ebay & PayPal but when they started taking a cut from the shipping charges I decided to use both as a last resort.

If you list an item with local pickup a phone number is allowed. If you have an ebay store you can also post phone numbers. People with eBay stores pay a different fee. eBay is still the cheapest auction around. Even with fees added to shipping cost

That, I did know.

You pay more on the front end and less on the back end. Price per listing lowers with the more you list.100,200,500,1000,and more. Not 10-20. These listings are not auction style. I tried to look for a few with phone numbers and found none. Trainz no phone number. Bob the Train Guy no phone number. I talked to a friend that has a store. He said." After a week he pulled his phone number from his listings. He could not handle the phone traffic of B.S." He said "people called all day long trying to help sell his stuff."

Ok, that all makes sense.
