As nicely built and painted as these all powered units appear to be I would expect them to go for over $500.00. I really like the AN F units and have several of them but do not want a Santa Fe set. We will see!

All 3 units are dual powered; just the drives along have been selling for over $100 ea. These are non-unattractive....if you happen to like that sort of thing,

Me Too Dan, I doubt this is the original owner and just a seller who doesn't know what he's selling. Can't be brass and die-cast.

They are not built correctly for any phase of F-3 that I'm aware of. By the time the stainless "Farr" type grills were installed the slotted roof vents were exchanged for 36" or 48" fans. But, to each his own, apparently he wanted some F-7's as the SF didn't own any F-3's.

Consider the seller - trainz Probably the most prolific lister of incorrectly described stuff on eBay.....and odds are very good that whoever buys this will be on the receiving end of a box of beat up, battered, and scratched to shreds items.

Well ya... I was trying to figure out where the BRASS fits in with their description. I know it's trainz but still, they know who made them and list them as Die Cast but in the description they really want to mislead with BRASS? Pure BS

Had that happen to me once upon a time: a R-O-W C&O K4. Thrown into a box with a couple of orphan pieces of foam, arrived with front end damage. To be fair, trainz offered to take it back, but a 3-rail C&O 2-8-4 was unique, so i fixed it.....more or less.

The one time that I dealt with Trainz (four brass passenger cars), I went directly to their location and picked them up in person. The shipping was going to be fifty or so and I can drive round-trip to the Atlanta area for less than thirty. Plus I got to get away for a short time. They gave me a little "tour" of their operation; the piles of stuff that they had, wowser!

Looked it up on Wikipedia to confirm what I remembered and didn't see any SF F-3's listed. Obviously we're wrong.

Yup. Have had a box of passengers arrive and some were well packed in bubble wrap and some were just tossed into the box with some newspaper that had been rolled up - those cars reverted back to kits in transit.

I wouldn't given them the credit to be able to mislead - I've got an appliance bulb in the freezer that brighter than the folks at trainz

Look again. Only the B unit is "dual powered". The 2 A units have no driven wheels under the cabs as I don't think a tower would fit if there is an interior.

What strikes me is 3 large open frame motors. Break out the Huge Marnostat to power these beasts. Nice looking units, though................
