Interesting to look at the rest of the seller's listings - some are within reason and the rest......well, they contribute to baldness.

I'm guessing some of these Hmmmmmms are from ignorance instead of greed, you think??

That is a possibility that I might embrace although I am sure that I will be japed at and told that I am incorrect; others seem to want to presume & assume the worst in everybody else....

The KTM leaf spring bettandorfs that are listed by this seller are ~$20 less than the last pair I sold on eBay. I will have to look into the queue to see what cabooses therein might use a set.

O scale trucks appear to be going through a price increase; given that all the pundits claim that no one builds kits anymore, I wonder who is buying trucks and for what purpose,

Obviously, I can't tell you what the reason is behind every purchase of trucks, but I notice many cars that are lacking them on the auction. Rich Yoder sold several of his cars minus trucks, and I'm sure others have done the same.

As for price increases, I recall importers stating their builders do NOT want to build them. I'm sure the root of the problem is $$$$$$$$$.

Noticed - they are going somewhere? In search of the missing socks in the drier?

Did not know that - all mine came with and I think I've only got 1-3 brass cars that are minus trucks in the box.

I was referring to increases to existing trucks that used to be readily available for decent pricing; Bill Davis has a line of trucks that he's selling so someone is building them.......but I'm still waiting on the Fox trucks from Rich,

Does seem that a reasonably priced and accurate series of Delrin trucks would be approaching a viable pursuit, maybe?

Wheel freak here - I am hoarding them. Seriously.

The side frames appear to be PSC, still available. Add NWSL wheels and make bolsters and you come out ahead.

Man, that guy has a lot of crap. A virtual trip down memory lane with many items I remember discarding over the years. A virtual flea market online.

What got my attention was the inaccuracy of his words to his pictures. I saw a pair of Bettendorf leaf spring trucks for 20 bucks that I would buy now for a caboose, but, the photo shows coil springs and all the additional photos show all kinds of trucks including arch bar types. No idea what you'd get if you "bought it now".

All of which with all the other stuff he's selling, he's probably not knowledgeable to any great degree and sloppy in his listings.... We've seen worse,
