Thinking about Peter's recent question regarding Ed R's log cars, it dawns on me that considering the preferences of many who participate in this forum, a collection (or at least random copies) of the late O Scale News would be of value.

When I got interested in O scale some 20 years or so back, my first chance purchase was a collection that included random early issues, and all the stuff done after the late Dan Henon's sale of the mag. Looking through those issues (particularly at the ads) told me what was available, and convinced me to go O scale.

The doorstop crowd here would find a lot of good stuff in both articles and ads.

Because of the difference in styles, the mix of OSN and OST covered most things of interest in the Hobby. Sad the one is gone.

I have thoughts regarding the assembly of an index to OSN, but it would complicated.

A LOT of work for sure, but a valuable reference no doubt about it! An index of the ads would also be valuable. Woody Matthews could probably give some insight as to how much of a task it might be.
