Have had some seriously deteriorating issues for the last week, culminating in bypassing the main 200 amp breaker, feeding into the outlet of a spare double 60 amp, and ordering a replacement all the electrician sites say is the drop in. It is....and isn't. Drops in (well, PUSHES in...Siemens QC2200) and one screw, as the original, but no clips at the far end.
Got it installed this morning, tested, now can use the computers again (somebody was worried she might not be able to use HER TV set or the 220 to the gas furnace).
I am certainly glad we have a big generator with a automatic switch, as all I have to do it pop the main breaker on the switch off, and all power to the box is dead.

Tried to explain, the house used to be 100 amp, of which the overload factor meant 50-60, which is what the breaker did.

50+ years ago, oil furnace abandoned in place, 200 amp service (Arrow-Hart) and baseboard heaters. Baseboards went away over 30 years ago, so we were fine on 60...but gotta keep the peace.

Glad you are back.
I'm asking again (I think) to see some more of your layout.
Also I remember that you modified some Lionel die cast locos so the smoke stack was lined up properly
and modified some domes. Also think you added a four wheel lead truck on a 675 to make it a true Pacific.
And front couplers on several locos.
How did you do these things? Any pictures of the process or finished product?
I'm probably wrong but think there are some on this forum that would like to do this also. ( Me for one.)
I know a lot of the posters on MTJ use CC but I think there a lot like me that do not.
Of course you may not want tell how you did the changes and I understand.
