What does that have to do with unrun 99%, single drive (without pre-war chains) and bondo for way more than scrap value?

As Bob says, too bad his Dad paid too much. Every one I have seen in the past has been dual drive, hasn't it?

I thought it was responsive to the discussion.

The seller is unaware of either the space bar or basic punctuation, but surely you can see he meant "unrun; 99% complete". I did not spot the tender, but then, I too consider this to be under $100 including shipping. Too bad his dad paid too much.

The white could be bondo, but more likely it is a glaze coat of putty hiding small casting flaws. At $400 it will not sell quickly.

Um, opinion.

Are we sure the evilbait link I posted is an Alexander?
The roof is all wrong. The ones I have seen, the cover panels seem to be cast in. The edge of the roof right above the windscreen is all wrong. The small hatches (sand fill?) in the sides between the doors are not quite right. There is NO roof detail. The grilles on the sides of the nose are wrong. The spears trailing the classification lights are wrong length.
The lead truck castings are different. Ladders in wrong place. Might be the skill of photographer (or lack thereof) but the unit in the "offering" looks like it has brass drivers.
