My grandmother used a percolator and when she was making coffee it smelled great!
But something was done to it because it tasted awful !! I still can't stand the coffee taste/flavor.

I recall my maternal grandparents' house in Weirton. There was an old metal double-boiler making coffee. And my grandmother, mother, and aunt would be standing in the kitchen near it hold cups of the brew.

It is a wonderful memory. And I miss them all.

My relatives drank hot coffee all yrar and most of the day.
If the windows were open you could smell it outside.
Everybody in my family drank coffee and my wife, kids and their kids drink it.
I drink Coke. No coffee.
