My next project will be getting this old Cleveland Union Terminal P1 running.

Looks like your pans need some insulators; might have some about for you.

Appreciate it, Rufus! I think they’re in the box with the screws. I’ll keep you posted when I get into it!

That cabin looks like it was based on the Atlas/Roco cabin from the late 70s. I have one (somewhere) that I removed the cupola from to replicate the car on the WB&A. I really need to find it and finish it. Unfortunately, no decent photos of it have surfaced for any lettering details and the color is not known either. :( I will probably finish the body in the Sherwin-Williams Forest green with black roof that was common on most of the equipment over the years.

I am thinking Thomas. Die cast and brass. A truly good model. One of mine got an end step casting smunched. These things are bringing $40 on eBay!

Yes. It is/was a Thomas. It is now more than a bit modified and some aspects upgraded a bit. It is just as you state, a truly good model. I did have muck about with the wheelsets and side frames to get it to roll smoothly. May not have been the original "correct" wheelsets, but they are now,

Cupola roof was missing which gave me an excuse to use up a bit of leftover scrap brass. May go back and add glazing......or not.

This is NOT meant to be a criticism, because there is nothing there that deserves criticism. On that note, the shot of the parts appear to have the usual dimensions of the classic "bobber" while the finish shots appear to be foreshortened. Nice work, whatever the case.
