Also followed me home from the Nat'l -- not sure why it caught my attention, but plenty of play value available in finishing it out.

Interesting piece. It's very Rufus and I'm certain it will become a beauty.

Very interesting car body; if it had some horizontal exterior ribs I'd describe it as "Milwaukee Road-ish."
The corrugated door implies it's a roll-up but
that's kind of "out there"

Any provenance for this?

Arrived today guys. It is a beautiful example of the primitive art of do-it-yourself model railroading.

Grandma Moses' primitive art auctions in the $130,000 range.

Thank you, Rufus.

There is a substantial folk art market out there to explore. I'd rather this go off to someone that might appreciate it.

This one arrived in the mail and needed some attention and some detail parts added (and a few tossed....). Probably a Huff 'n' Puff kit car...

Next up......

Came in the same box with that PRR Dairy reefer wrapped in newspaper and box arrived with a hole in one side. Looks like it's all there, but needs reassembly. Could be easy; could be kindling. Remains TBD.

WOW! Beautiful. Why change it? Park it on a siding as is.

That is actually a rather good observation and idea and resonates well wit many of my suggestions to folks that many beat models might have a 2nd life as scenery items.

Only have 2 problems with this one for me - I have no place to park it and it's actually On3 and I have no On3 track available; could put standard truck up it, maybe. Probably.... Let's see if I can salvage it 1st.

Let me second Roger's suggestion. That would look awesome on a siding somewhere.

Delighted that you are back to trains. It has been a long dry spell.
