Rufus i now believe you taught my 11th grade literature class.Our teacher had us debating this sanders name for a few days. It was his way of getting us back on track after Christmas break.
I find toggle switches and push buttons to be the best for me. Any system that requires me to read more then half a page is to much.

I have oft times stated that instructions for a model train control system should be able to fit on a 4x6 card, and that anything more lengthy or complicated was a detriment to the hobby.

No, that's great -- how big is the instruction manual and can a child figure it out all by themselves? Ok, maybe not fair - children are probably better at this stuff than adults, But anything that requires user groups, video tutorials, etc., to help others is probably overly complicated at the starting point. This should all be simpler than quantum theory and should also cost about 5 cents.
