Yeah, my point wasn't really to prove or disprove the "pipe". My primary contention is, the model is an standard Max Gray model. Absolutely nothing is custom or scratch built. Having said that, it still has a lot of potential. The tarnish is easy to clean up. New motor, and maybe a gearbox, add some detail (or not), paint and decal it. The model will probably out live all of us.

Yeah, by a factor of 2 or even more. Just another estate auction jerk trying to convince a sucker this is a silk purse and not a sows ear. I'll bet there's a slime trail behind these type of listers when they walk.
