Our favorite forum makes me sign in for every single post. And today it has forgotten the handy autofill that used to let me check in quickly. And it is running very slowly, even on the big Dell.

But wow! These geared models are noisy! Even The Greek complained: "what's that horrible noise?" Scott Mann solved the problem with timing belts.

I solve the same problems by mounting the motor lower - and I get much quieter models.

Yeah the the L-1 is a real screamer. It was offensive to my ears as well.
