Tuesday PM - stripped the ugly black paint, sand blasted (garnet, 60 psi), soldered the cab roof better, and ready to prime and paint. Glad I did that - I was going to give up and let Jim do it. Better that he gets his Bay State thingies going. I am sticking to PAs.
After this thing gets painted again, I am back to the Erie Berk, soldering the half round wire on the top of the tender. Turns out it is not as easy as it looks - difficult to bend this stuff without it getting twisted. Good thing I got 20 feet of it.
