Hello all...

Fun times with the City of Los Angeles O scale passenger train by Pomona Valley Models 1940-41 original price $335
Glorious 17/64ths
Had to jump up to the 10amp power supply to run double headed

Really beautiful train Carey. Those look nearly perfect for original paint. How/where were you able to acquire them if you don’t mind me asking.

Hello ...
This UP Pomona set and the Santa Fe Pomona set were found in a storage locker in the bay area ( as I was told) ...they appear to be factory samples / display / pieces +-
UP cars appear not have been very much ...wheels still have over spray on the tires ....any running would have worn it off .

There are 6 more City of Los Angeles cars in the earlier yellow & brown paint scheme...quite nice ....

In the same collection a scratch built Challenger in 17/64ths ...which is stunning ...was the cherry on top...of the grouping ...so soon get it running pulling the earlier City of Los Angeles cars ..

I was very fortunate to find the grouping .....through an Exacta baggage car purchase on eBay ....asking do you have anything else old .......Bob is kindly working on the tired SMR Northern that was in the grouping also

Cheers Carey
