The Bramble locomotives seem mostly well preserved. So much from that era just got beat to snuff over the years.

I noticed a Hawk D&RGW caboose at the one-minute mark of the O-1 video. I always thought it odd that Hawk offered this caboose while not offering a D&RGW locomotive. In fact, I am hard pressed to think of any D&RGW locomotive model catalogued in the pre-war era.

Yes the Hawk D&RGW ...seems to be an odd choice ...for a tiny little store front shop in Chicago to turn out ...
I believe Bill Lenoir was working with Hawk ... Choosing unusual cars to offer....helium car , pickle car , etc ....

Unique sometimes works .... sometime just unique

It is a nice little caboose though! I have one that some poor misguided sole over painted Yellow! I can still see the D&RG sticker under the yellow paint!! Someday maybe I'll give a shot to trying to remove it but man on a wood car, that's got to be tough!
