Great Western Locomotive Works American

Hello all best wishes for a Merry Christmas ...you may enjoy seeing a Great Western American in action . Great Western made in North Hollywood , Ca ..casting by Adams & son.

made 1948-9 motor in tender ..(1950 under new ownership motor was moved to engine) . Note working valve gear ...came out of Steve's collection ..just needed a bit a wiring work to get it back to moving .

Think I have the kit for it as well........somewhere.

What is the source of the passenger cars? Also Great Western?

Hello,...yes those are Great Western cars ...with cast brass truck frames ..
