De Bruin wrote:Jon, do know what the scale is for that WWII diorama? The "ruptured" Class 50 is highly detailed and I'm curious who made the kit.

The smoke deflectors look more Class 52 to me. I suspect the scale is Scale 1 or 1:35.

Wayne is probably correct on the scale being 1/35. Long gone are the days of 1/48 kits. :(
I got lucky and scored a diecast 1/48 Stuart from eBay the other day. Unfortunately it has British Lend/Lease markings. So now the painful hunt is on for 1/48 American markings!

So how about a little weathering on the Stuart tank?

The 'Easy 8' Sherman tank was also produced in 1:48 scale under the 'Hobby Boss' label. I found it at Hobby Lobby.

Great job, Jon...looks sharp!

I've got a Tamiya kit around here somewhere for a 1/48 IJN bulldozer...I'm going to have to bust that out.

I’ve got a diecast Army dozer somewhere on the layout, also. On a Rufus flatcar kit!

After some digging, found it:

Moved it to the top of the kit pile.
