From EBay for 975. Seller claimed C7-C8 condition. LOL.
All lights burned out and would not run without flywheel being pushed. So...


Rear marker lights and backup light replaced.


Front marker lights replaced.


Waiting on new Pittman motor to arrive from Scott.

By now you know thar this model was one of Scott's true masterpieces? One wonders if the previous owner tried to run it with a Lionel transformer? A grand seems ok for this model, even with electrical flaws.

Bob, I’m not sure what happened to it. I’ve always thought Pittman motors were pretty bulletproof! Bad commutator or pole? Luckily Scott had one in inventory! I scoured the internet with no success.

Yes 1K is a very good price. That is the same motor NWSL calls 40 60 MM best motor made for them back
in the R Martin era. I also say the previous owner fracked it up.

Bill, you’re correct! The NWSL motor 40611-9 matches the dimensions my Pittman.

Raol Martine NWSL had Pittman build his motor to specific specifications and bought 500 +
motors they were double shaft and metal solder tabs, and I think 6K or 8700 rpm.

I bought the last 10 from NWSL Montana about a year ago. I have 2 installed in a Baldwin
centipede pulls 22 passenger cars average weight 3 pounds per car.

There was a time when you could buy them direct from Charlie Pittman for under $30, They had to be stock - I believe the 9433 is a stock motor.
