This counts, even though the tender is scratch. The original got lost in an estate sale.

I have since finished the tender with a nice brass underframe, and handrails/ladders and a coal pile. The locomotive was pretty badly cut up when I got it - drivers were mangled, valve gear kind of kinky . . .

Surprise! Brass Imports - least popular picture thread?

Thanks for that tour. I had no idea they made two different models of the Challenger. I have passed up several of the ones with 3939 etched into the brass _ I assume you consider that one the better one? I am sticking to Lobaugh for Challengers - last count was ten completed, a few without motors and worms installed, one Big Boy based on the Jabelmann kit, and one project boiler, domes, cab, frames. Where is that psychiatrist? The one I want takes care of that guy on Lethal Weapon on TV.

I had a long-ago friend, in my HO days, Pennsy nut (we all are..) whose goal it was to own 10% of every loco. Sounds like you're well on the way to the similar goal with Challengers.....

Note that it is not three-rail, it is only sitting on Fastrack for the photo shoot.

That would have been 59.8 Decapods and 42.5 K4s. The good news is, he would have only needed .1 of the Q1 and S1 and S2!

Yeah. I just counted Berkshires. Frightening! And only three of them are CNW.

Got to keep this going: This is Max, with Overland drivers, NWSL/Pittman, and my first "complicated" paint job:

Not many photos on my work computer, but don't want to see the thread die. OMI Turbine with added cab interior detail and Lee Turner weathering.
