Appreciated!

Thanks!

Peter--

Nice model. Is it the NJ/Custom Brass version?

Scalecraft Dave--

Many thanx for posting pix of the real 2-4-4-2. I remember it as the "World's Largest Loco Kit" in Niblock Yard just west of Snoqualmie WA after Charlie Morrow has salvaged the loco & brought it to "civilization" in form of chassis & separate superstructure. My guess is the tender may have been too far deteriorated to rebuild & a new tank might be needed. I knew the loco had been removed when the NW Ry Museum had to vacate its early storage facility when Puget Power wanted the land back for its own use, but didn't know where the loco went. I hope that group in Garibaldi can get it running--seeing that would be well worth the trip!

If Western MD Scenic gets the C&O 1309 going, there'll be articulateds operating east & west on tourist lines, in addition to UP mainline activity.

BTW, McCloud # 25 is a Prairie type 2-6-2, not a Mike.

I knew that...I just kept thinking of 90 right behind it. I even posted a photo of three drivers side by side.

Yes JW, it is the NJCB version but I "modernized" it with new headlights, stack, and added an oil bunker to the tender. QSI sound with speakers in the smoke box and tender was also added.

I don't thing anyone else made them in O scale. In HO scale they were made by Gem/Akane and Oriental.
