Blood Clot
Geez, are these painful.
5 hours in ER today, ultrasounds, blood thinners.
Apparently common (but nobody told us) for cancer patients.

I was never told about it either, but fortunately didn't experience any. Funny, I've experienced some other seemingly "need to know" Cancer and Chemo information that my oncologist wasn't forthcoming with. Maybe they don't want to scare us, so don't mention things until they turn up.

And the hits just keep on coming!
Sitting at St. Arbux this morning, reading analog paper, drinking coffee......wife calls me on my flip phone.
She fell down 10 of 14 stairsteps inside the house. Her turn in ER.

That's terrible. I feel for both of you.
It is OK to ask your Dr. for more information, Dave.
Maybe this will cheer you up...

Scalp wound stapled. Torn finger knuckle cleaned, stitched and splinted. CT scan of right side. 4+ hours later, checked out with an ER Frequent Flyer card.
My turn yesterday for blood draw and shot/infusion for monthly bone building. 2-1/2 hours.
Wife related her thoughts during A over T..every time she hit, she thought "gee, that hurt" and "I didn't know there were that many stairs".
And all this time, I have to fill in with shopping on a leg that's killing me....

I was reading an article about risk management. Women are more likely to fall down steps than men. They also tend to fall on steps with more than 3 steps. Several issues were talked about from social , shoes, cellphone, and clothing. Researchers claim number one reason is. “ Risk management” women think falling down 10 steps is the same as stumbling on 3.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes

If I lived in Floe Ice, Auntarctica, I would do the shopping for you. (I live in Columbia, Kentucky, if you are nearby contact me.)
Some stores have electric carts so those with trouble walking can ride and shop.
Walmart in this area will bring your purchase to the parking lot if you place an online order and select "in-store pickup."
Maybe you can get help in one of those ways.

When supplies get low, we send up a balloon attached to an antenna, call nearest Naval Station, they send out an SSN, under ice as needed, lower all masts, set fairwater planes to vertical "under ice" position, and if their SINS is any good they break through between 50 and 100 yards from our position.

Once Hanan... a little too far for me to run to the market for you.
And now, you are on the other side of the world?
That must have been a big change for you. At least you moved away from the hurricanes.
