Al Judy passes

Postby gregj410 » Sun Aug 04, 2024 6:14 pm

A friend in the hobby just shared this with me. I met Al two summers ago at the On30 Narrow gauge summer meet in Harrisburg. From my understanding he is the one that was instrumental in getting those narrow gauge shows going.
I didn’t really know him but he was a terrific modeler and always seemed friendly and helpful. I’ll post a link to his layout on YouTube just shot a couple months ago.

I have gone to a number of Al’s shows over the past few years, both his On30 shows and more recently his O scale show last April. Always friendly and upbeat. I bought a few CMP cars from him in April. He built an On30 layout for an acquaintance as well as 2 three rail layouts, one for a very good friend. He will be missed.
