Ogr B/S board

Am I imagining things or has this disappeared? I don’t see the board on my device as I normally would. I don’t see where they’ve posted that they’re shutting it down. I suspect you can only see it now if you’re a member which I am not.

Your link brings me to the list of various forums, not the b/s forum. I believe it use to be under miscellaneous forums but no longer exists on my device.

Go specifically to the b/s forum and copy and paste it here if you don’t mind. I’d like to see where it goes when I open it.

They appear to be changing it so you have be a registered member and logged on. Otherwise it disappears.

It’s really to the detriment of the sellers. I cruise that forum quite a bit. You cannot access the sellers email
w/o being a member. Some sellers would post their email address on the description page, guess it won’t matter now.

To bad NK just minimized members potential sales to members only being able to make the purchase. Oh well, their loss I suppose. I won’t be joining just to strike the occasional deal.

Its supposed to be a work in progress so not sure what the final result will be. Seems to me that they would attract more subscribers by keeping with the old setup. Non members could see ads but not contact the seller not unlike how the TCA website works. That would encourage more to join.

Agreed. If they can shut you out of the b/s forum they can do the same with the other forums. I tried to join NK sometime ago and from what I could tell they wanted me to subscribe to their magazine to become a member. Not happening, I just don’t find the content of the magazine that inspiring.

Ogr is a simple platform to purchase train related stuff at often good prices without all the bs you deal with on eBay.
