I bought some mouse traps
I bought some mouse traps
The wood base kind thats been made for decades. I can't imagine that they are assembled by a machine. My best guess is that women sit around all day and assemble the components into a fixture that then presses the parts into the base all arranged properly.

Easy killer! You can’t say things like ‘woman sit around all day’ someone might get triggered
Re: I bought some mouse traps
They are made so cheap now. I cańt get a second use out of them. On mouse and the trap bends.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes
Re: I bought some mouse traps
Yeah, and at some time they started substituting plastic bait platforms for the old metal type. You can generally find both types, but not at all stores. The still "snap" closed just as good as ever.
Re: I bought some mouse traps
I've used plastic, wooden base, and glue pads + (size 10 1/2 for the finale) with equal success/lack of. Peanut butter is the bait of choice. There is no logic involved, as different things work at different times. "Pic" (for me) is the best brand of wooden base trap. Last one I caught was with black plastic (Tomcat brand as best I recall). I usually throw the whole mess away. I'd dynamite 'em if it was practical!
