The Most Productive and Beneficial Americans

Postby MurphOnMillerAve » Fri May 15, 2020 6:51 pm

In any and all fields of endeavor..
For example:
Eleanor Roosevelt
Dr. Salk
Walt Disney
?
(I have not provided explanations of each of those , hoping to invite some conversation by just mentioning them as examples of some thoughts that came to me recently.)

Rufus T Firefly aka Julius Henry "Groucho" Marx

Secretary of Labor : The Department of Labor wishes to note that the workers of Freedonia are demanding shorter hours.

Rufus T. Firefly : Very well, we'll give them shorter hours. We'll start by cutting their lunch hour to 20 minutes.

Fred Rogers
"Mr. Rogers' Neighbborhood"
I've often wondered if he had a large positive effect on the youth of this country. It seemed to me that he felt he did . I hope he was right. It was good to see so gentle a soul so relaxed and empathetic .

Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have created or made.

It was not my quote, but one from Mephistopheles who responded as such when told to go to Hell.
