Is our Universe really the only one? A new theory that hopes to solve one of the biggest problems in physics, may have rewritten our perception of time, and found a way through the Big Bang.

This would explain the source of the evil twin phenomenon.

Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have created or made.

Indeed, it was,

"Does our universe have a twin?"
Google knows everything. I will google for an answer.

I googled "Cosmology and Model Trains" and got this:

Which led to...

"Does our universe have a twin?"
Answer: Only in the world of fiction.
Problem solved by Google.

Might do better with your other fav....Wikipedia
Cosmology is a branch of astronomy concerned with the studies of the origin and evolution of the universe, from the Big Bang to today and on into the future. It is the scientific study of the origin, evolution, and eventual fate of the universe.

Re: Does our Universe have a twin?
I thought the term "Universe" referred to everything that existed, or that ever was (considering the distance[s} involved in a Lightyear.) That would include:
energy
matter
gravity
light
blackness (absence of light)
other stuff
galaxies
...which contain Solar Systems
...….which contain planets accompanying a star/sun
the occasional (or frequent?) comet and meteors
Black Holes
Did I leave something out?
I just always wondered, if every thing and force were contained in the Universe (existence) how would we know when we had reached its edge? What would we be looking at/onto? into?
P.S. Have ya ever taken careful notice of some of the really, really, really odd creatures in the oceans, particularly in the worm group, for example? Are we certain they are all from here?

As far as I can tell. Though I have had my doubts from time to time. Simian characteristics give me pause.

You have to watch out for some of those pan-dimensional characters.
Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have created or made.

Murph,
You need to spend some time playing with your trains again.
Change a few things around. Not rebuilding. Just a little re-placement.

Why? What makes you say so, Roger?

I would rather see what small changes you can make on your layout that would inspire others to work on their layouts and show us than
some of the subjects we are covering now ( Twin universe ) that do not help the model railroading hobby. I do realize that you started
the topic. At least that is better than the topics I didn't start recently. You are a master of scenery and others need to see it.
