WASHINGTON (AP) — Joe Biden, in one of his final acts as president, pardoned Dr. Anthony Fauci in an extraordinary use of executive power to guard against potential “revenge” by the new Trump administration.

The decision Monday by Biden came after now-President Donald Trump had warned of an enemies list filled with those who have crossed him politically.

“The issuance of these pardons should not be mistaken as an acknowledgment that any individual engaged in any wrongdoing, nor should acceptance be misconstrued as an admission of guilt for any offense,” Biden said in a statement. “Our nation owes these public servants a debt of gratitude for their tireless commitment to our country.”

Thanks Wayne, I had not read that oversight committee report prior to now. Even allowing for mistakes and taking Fauci's comments out of text, it's clear something was not right with his involvement.

That’s laughable considering what the democrats have done to the Trump family over the past 8 years. He said at his inauguration speech he wants his legacy to be a unifier and a peacemaker unlike the democrats who want to divide and conquer this country. It’s a great day for America, and the only way it would get better is if all the democrats that said they would leave the country if Trump got elected actually did.

Rosie O'Donnell is currently in England with her muse and says she's "never coming back."
As if anyone cares.

England has enough trouble but we should be grateful to this country for taking her. I hope she keeps her word and stays there…that’s one less immoral person we don’t have to hear about. Keep them going!

Totally agree Hondo. Too bad others like her don't do that same. Celebrities should stick to their chosen field and keep out of politics. Politicians used to stick to politics (crooked or not), but today they too are given celebrity status. And sadly in this country, celebrities are treated like gods.

Rosie and Donald have a 30+ year long grudge.
I spend entirely too many hours a day tying my shoes
