The DNC

The DNC made a huge mistake since Trump has been elected in not grooming a viable candidate that anyone can be confident in. Instead, they just stamped their feet, whined and proceeded with bogus claims and impeachment efforts. They wrote their own will on this election the moment they failed to acknowledge their failures in 2016

Biden, who walked back criticism of Sanders last week for not being “a registered Democrat,” warned supporters that Republicans will tar the party with the socialist label due to Sanders’s influence.

“Donald Trump is desperate to pin the socialist label of socialist, socialist, socialist, on our party,” Biden said. “We can’t let him do that.”

Biden Warns Party that Their Eventual Nominee ‘Will Have to Carry the Label’ of Bernie’s Socialism

Biden, where have you been? Several of the democratic presidential candidates are socialist (not just Sanders) and the young up and comers like "the Squad" are as well. That is YOUR party Biden, get used to it.

As opposed to the Republican National Committee, which has sworn fealty to one of the most vile and dysfunctional human beings to achieve high office in American history? History will not be kind to them either I'm pretty sure.

The RNC never vowed fealty to Obama....

Democrats obviously hate Donald Trump as much as they've ever hated anybody. Why? It really doesn't seem logical, until you remember that Donald Trump was one of them. He was a trusted member of the Democrat inner circle. Don't believe it? Do a quick search on Donald Trump's wedding to Melania.

You will find photographs of Bill and Hillary Clinton, of all people, beaming alongside Donald and Melania. You will see Barbara Walters. You will find Katie Couric, Heidi Klum, Russell Simmons, Kelly Ripa, P. Diddy, G. King, Matt Lauer, Star Jones, even Chris Matthews (no kidding); you probably get the picture. He was lavished with honors, back then too. He was super-rich. He gave money to Democrats: His money was just fine, back then.

People like Kamala Harris, Gillibrand, McAuliffe and Booker were tickled to get donations from Trump! He even gave money to the Clintons! He was a successful entertainer as well. Democrats just loved this guy! Then, it appears, Mr. Trump had some sort of epiphany. He's getting older, maybe he's getting wiser? He may have come to understand the destructive message of the Democratic party. He may have started to understand he could make a difference in the future of this nation, that has always given him so much.

Now Democrats hate him like they haven't hated a Republican president since Abraham Lincoln took their slaves. They might hate Trump even more, since Lincoln was never a Democrat donor.

He was a really vile and dysfunctional human when he was a democrat.

"The RNC never vowed fealty to Obama...."

You may not agree with his politics, but he has given every evidence of being a decent human being. The same cannot be remotely said about the Thug in Chief. :).

"Why?"

I can only speak for myself. It's because of his actions and words since becoming president. He's a narcissistic thug, with a gangster mentality based upon actions and words. Tacitly supporting Nazis and white supremacists, assorted racists and bigots. Totally lacking in compassion or normal human sympathies for the poor and oppressed. Vindictive. Near criminal in his approach to the rule of law.

Who else in public life would brag that they could kill someone and no one would be able to touch him?

As for his role in the Democratic party, he was a bit of a clown and no one took him seriously as a thinker or policy maker. If he supported good causes, no one cared much for what a clown he was. Now that he's a proto-fascist and President, it's easy to look back and see that he was more than just a clown. When he argued for the death penalty for the Central Park Five, one just had to shake one's head and think "what a poor, unfortunate, dangerous fool." Now one sees he's the hero of his own Godfather Epic.

Got news for you, mate - there's a bunch of us Republicans that hate the Orangutan too. Dealt with that conniving SOB twenty years ago in defending NY real estate lease arrangements. As much as I disagree with Limbaugh, I feel bad for him...wish it was Trump.

The DNC changed its rules last week to accommodate multi-billionaire Mike Bloomberg. This is the same DNC who has made it clear in the past that one percenters have too much influence in politics, guess all of a sudden they don't.

Follow the money. Bloomberg has already spent 300 million of his own money on ads. He has 2,000 workers in CA alone, and is personally paying 800 of them. He paid 12 billion (with a B) to secure his position as mayor of NYC. Bloomberg could spend 20 billion of his own money to become president, and still have 35 billion left. Follow the money.

With all that money being spent, no wonder the economy is doing so well.

Maybe multi-billionaire Mike Bloomberg could put some of those billion's of dollars to find shelter for the homeless in the city where he was mayor for three terms...

They hate him so much because he has been extremely effective at reversing all the policy's and much loved things they want. And because he is a business man, they hate business, and his policy's have been really good for business and are why the economy is so good right now.

Styer and Bloomberg are blanketing the TV with ads here, it's just constant. All for nothing I hope. Spend you fools.

"he is a business man, they hate business, and his policy's have been really good for business and are why the economy is so good right now."

He is a dishonest businessman, subverting the spirit of the laws of our nation. Regularly reneging on promises and engaging in activities that have led to the largest number of lawsuits in recent memory. If people hate him, it's because he says and does despicable and cruel things, including encouraging fascist and neo-Nazi elements in our society, constantly making cruel and harmful comments about the least powerful segments of our society. He is the anti-Christ if there ever was one as President, in terms of his personal values. I mean this in the sense of standing for everything Jesus is reported to have despised 2000 years ago in the New Testament. That upsets some people who consider themselves Christians, like Mitt Romney.

Face reality. The economy is good now because of the policies instituted by the Obama administration and Federal Reserve beginning in 2009 or so. Most of the benefits to the nation occurred long before this idiot took office. Anyhow, one cannot attribute the economy's goodness or badness to one man or party. Exceptions include Roosevelt and the Democrats in the 1930s who mitigated the Depression. Had the Republican congress gone along with greater spending in the 2010 and later period, the economy would likely be even better. Government spending is needed in severe recession and depression to make up for the lack of consumer demand. Consumer demand is by far the biggest part of our economy these days.

Republican tax cuts may prove potentially disastrous since the proceeds have gone into mostly onshore and offshore accounts of corporations and individuals, who, by and large, have no intention of investing them in research and development, or growing the economy. The economy has rebounded largely on the back of consumer spending, which recovered after the Great Recession due to Federal Reserve policies and business decisions to resume hiring.

When did the Republican party become the Party of Putin is our Friend, and extreme deficit spending during times of excellent economic growth? Bizarre. Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan are rolling over in their graves :).

Not only is he a dishonest businessman, he's one that sees and uses bankruptcy as a tool. Hardly the ideal that you want running a country

Actually, the economy is not all that good - growth is at snail pace and it's consumer driven. That's never good. All of the industrial aspects of our economy are either dead or on life support.

Republican tax cuts may prove potentially disastrous since the proceeds have gone into mostly onshore and offshore accounts of corporations and individuals, who, by and large, have no intention of investing them in research and development, or growing the economy. Yes, the trickle-down crap is just that, crap. The Wall St. bankers in hysterics over "socialism" are the same guys that took $25 billion bailouts and pocketed it, never investing in anything or lending to anyone. Again, it's riding on a consumer economy which is at best brittle and fragile.

When did the Republican party become the Party of Putin is our Friend, and extreme deficit spending during times of excellent economic growth? Bizarre. Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan are rolling over in their graves :).

The last member of that Republican party died a few years ago. The current one bears no relationship to anything recognizable.
