Should we believe the election polls.

Back in 2016 the election polls and the lame stream liberal said Hillary Clinton would be the big winner

Previous to the Iowa Caucuses it was Joe Biden in the lead. After a week the DNC finally figured out who won.
Poor democrats, can't even run their own election without mucking it up.

1. Buttigieg 26.2%

2. Sanders 26.1%

3 Warren 18.2%

3 Biden 15.8%

Completely meaningless - Iowa results have almost nothing to do with the rest of the country.

Poor democrats, can't even run their own election without mucking it up.

Lucky for Republicans = they won't be challenged by having an election at all.

Sadly, we only get 2 choices and they both suck, and it's comes down to which sucks less in one's personal perception of reality.

Maybe Sanders or Bloomberg will run as a 3rd party candidate if they don't get the democrat nomination.

Too bad Mephistopheles wasn't a choice in the Republican caucuses. He might have beaten out Trump :).

I’d like to see a national primary day. Get rid of this game if states jumping ahead of each other.

Polls show Biden's campaign could be hitting the wall
https://news.yahoo.com/polls-show-biden ... 49414.html

When you drill down on the state that matters most right now, New Hampshire, the picture is even worse. There, Biden was averaging 16.8 percent on Monday — good for second place behind Sanders, who hails from the neighboring state of Vermont. Now, after a series of dismal post-Iowa tracking polls have shown Biden in free fall, he has plummeted nearly 3 percentage points to 14.1 percent in a matter of days. Buttigieg, meanwhile, gained nearly 5 percentage points over the same period, and now leads Biden with roughly 18 percent support.

My prediction is that whoever is the Democratic nominee will receive 2-5 million more votes than Trump. If we had a parliamentary system they'd be Prime Minister for sure ;). As much as I'd like to see a woman as President on principle, if the nominee is a man, the margin will be closer to 5 million and the Democratic candidate will likely win the Electoral vote as well. Just my guess.

Lets see if I have this correct the UK has a parliamentary system with a Prime Minister and just last Dec people who had never voted for a conservative tossed Jeremy Corbyn ( the liberal labour leader ) out the door and selected Boris Johnson as their PM. They now have their own Donald Trump running the country.

We are a republic and not a democracy.
A democracy is nothing more than MOB RULE where 51% of the people can take away the rights of the other 49%

Thankfully we have the electoral collage.......

"Thankfully we have the electoral collage......."

Which allows someone voting in Wyoming to have more clout than someone voting in California, Florida, Texas or New York. Not necessarily a good thing. Tyranny of the minority is no better than tyranny of the majority. The Electoral College was all about preserving the power of the elites, the slave holders (mainly the South) and farmers. It's anti-democratic overall. It is more of a collage than a college :).

I stand corrected. I used the wrong COLLEGE

But I still don't want California and New York running the country. However it will probably come to that one of these days as the people decide that being a socialist country will be better than being a capitalist country. Might be a good time to get the money out of wall street and hide it in a mattress.

Countries with good and largely non-impoverishing health care and educational systems like Canada, Sweden and Germany are not socialist countries, so let's stop arguing that good health care and education requires socialism. It's total nonsense.

If we would stop being the police force and protector of those countries and the rest of the world we would have billions of dollars to spend on our own people. I personally could care less if Russia were to take over Europe or if China took over all of Asia. And the Muslims can have all of the the mid east as far as I am concerned.

Non of those people can get along with each other and will continue to kill each other. Let them have at it.

It wasn't my idea to invade Iraq or Afghanistan, much less Vietnam :). Terrible ideas then and in retrospect.

Bush made one hell of a mistake taking out Saddam. Should have left him alone. Iraq and Iran would still be having at it. And Obama didn't learn a thing from it as he took out Qaddafi and tried to take out Assad. Between Bush and Obama they made a total mess over there.

We made a big mistake back in the 80s when Russia was invited into Afghanistan to fight the group that became know as the Taliban. We just had to push the Russians out. That would still be Russia's mess today.

Should have stayed out of Vietnam and Korea. All those young American live wasted and for what. Trillions of dollars spent also and we are still spending it in Korea.
