2019: What things and which people are worth holding onto? Any de-cluttering called for?

Things are just things; people are not.
Evil cannot create anything new, it can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have created or made.

The premise sounds harsh, at first-blush, but it was suggested in a conversation I watched on tv that perhaps it is good to consider whether anybody in our lives has become a more negative presence than a positive one. Regarding things, it was suggested that perhaps a vehicle had become a disappointment, causing more trouble than it was still worth.

Sometimes, perhaps , it becomes time to move on. That moment, most significantly , happened to (for?) me when I graduated college and decided to move entirely from the Pittsburgh area to NYC , back in 1967, upon returning from Italy. I felt I had experienced all there was to do and be and went to become something more and something different . It meant turning away from several people who had become different from whom I originally thought they were.

I'm sure that all is true. In perspective, you can sell and/or dispose of a vehicle. People are more complicated.

Certainly. Absolutely. Almost goes without saying.
