It is a bronze statue of one of the Yaqui Deer Dancers.
Image

He is is 63 years old now but was only 55 when the statue of him was made. He wears a deer head on his own head. The cloths on the antlers have flowers printed on them. Flowers are believed to be powerful weapons against evil.

Odd sized deer head; much smaller that the ones on the wall at my house in PA......but at least I got the statue aspect correct......

My guess is that every piece of regalia has significance.

Different flowers are blooming around here almost as fast as I can photograph them. More to come but for now, a change of pace.

A portable contraption used in and with one of the old "wringer" type potbellied clothes washers, perhaps for scrubbing out tough soiling ?

Interesting answer. I can see it being used that way but no, not what it is.

When I saw the coat hanger like hooks my first thought was that it was hung in the outhouse to hold the corn cob and a roll of Joseph Gayetty's new invention, toilet paper rolls. That was not even close to what it is.

No, only one required for its intended use.

The roller on the left side has a "knotch" in it. That would normally indicate it is used as some kind of pulley for a belt or rope? The larger perforated ring to it's right appears to be some kind of holder. A holder for a cylindrical container that has something in it that is possibly hot/warm and/or something aromatic? Other wise why have holes?

No on pulley. No belt or rope. Holder is correct. Cylindrical container... you might call it that but I wouldn't. Hot is correct. Aromatic... yes, it holds something with a unique odor.

Antique clothes smoker for hunting clothes? Allegedly covers the scent.

This must be a good Whatzit. Nobody is getting close. Maybe a photo of it on the device it is used with will help.

I once had the pleasure of crawling toward the machine gun placement while they were firing at us. When I got there I was disappointed. The machine gun mount had a rail limiting how low the machine guns could fire. I could not have been shot even if I had stood up (1963, Fort Polk, Louisiana.)

The smell of one being fired does have an odor, unique for me, maybe not so for someone who has been around a lot of machine guns.

Clamp with handle for moving the gun when the barrel is hot from firing.
