I was not sure if you would recognized a modified Kadee close up.
The Kadees I have do not play well with Lionel couplers because of a triangular piece that modifies the simple behavior of a knuckle coupler.

Possibly because I modify Kadee couplers to make my own radial couplers for under traction freight cars.
