No New Year’s resolutions here but I recently vowed to complete all my unfinished wood working projects and get them out of this shop. Whether I sell them or give them away.
I kid not when I tell you I started this hope chest for my daughter 24 years ago! It looked like the first photo less the lid for that long
You can see how the wood has oxidized from sitting verses the newer top. I’ve since sanded the box and it’s lightened up substantially. The sad part is in a day I’ve gotten it nearly ready for finish. Hope to have another update inside of 24 years
