The Caravan Invasion
Re: The Caravan Invasion
2000 people can go down to a local police dept and change a police force. Look how the Quatemalan police stepped aside when these people came to their boarder. I'm not saying it want be painful.

They never had a Constitution with a 2nd amendment that provided for the citizens to own firearms. Even the gangs down there very seldom use a firearm. They use machete's because they know the people have no way to defend themselves.

It was very painful for this country to become the United States. But a least the people had same weapons that the British Had.
Re: The Caravan Invasion
Maybe we should escort this caravan directly to California. They can add them to the other 114 thousand homeless people they have now. The weather is nice in Calif like where these people come from. It's getting cold in the rest of the country.

Well, that's not actually true in Mexico and part of the usual mythology that people like to spread about since the ownership of firearms is within their constitution.....the use of non-firearms is simply for the impact of the brutality and more economic.
The rest of Central America is something else entirely.

He'll put them to work like we should be doing. They want to be here, then put them to work, collect taxes, etc.

Coming from poverty these are not highly educated people and probably don't speak English. So what will be available for them. A less that minimum wage job. Even a $15 dollar an hour job is not self sustaining. Taxes, they won't make enough to pay taxes and anything that is extracted will be given back to them and more with the tax credit like many already receive.
So they will be on welfare and food stamps and free medical.
This is why I say send them to California. Maybe all the elite in Hollywood and silicon valley will provide for them. Stockton, California is going to give $500 in basic income. Cannabis is legal in Calif, they can grow that.

What assistance will this caravan of people receive?

That's a huge number of people, afoot, most of whom I would imagine are nice folks, judging from what I have seen on the News.

I am sure most of them are nice people and there are many women with young children. They are going to need a lot of help when they get here.
So where does a large group like that pee and poop. Are others helping to feed them on their journey
Estimate is now 7000 in the caravan.
Caravan of 7,000 Central American migrants continues north, defying warnings to turn back
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/caravan-of ... rn-around/
Despite the migrants' determination, this is a dangerous and deadly journey. On Monday, CBS News saw where a migrant fell from a truck to his death. The migrants say they hope to enter the U.S. through the crossing in Tijuana. At this pace, it will take a month and a half to get there.
At least they are heading to the right place. CALIFORNIA

The time frame was per the CBS article. They said it was a thousand mile journey to Calif from where they started.
And now Hurricane Willa, a Category 4 storm, threatens Mexico's Pacific coast. Don't know if this will effect them or not.
